Every Mind Matter’s Board Member Stacey Knobler, M.D., had a birthday, and we celebrated with a delicious, authentic Mexican lunch prepared by Reno’s best Mexican chef, Johanna Villalobos of Senor Tequila’s. Stallar Lufrano emceed and Washoe County Commissioner Alexis Hill cut the chocolate birthday cake. Mayoral candidate Kate Marshall paid us a visit. Board member Vanessa Ferreira helped welcome three of our Fellows and their families, and graduated Fellow Mariana Lopez Baez, now thriving in graduate school and taking care of Tulane University’s football team as a student athletic trainer, came during her semester break. . We are deeply grateful for the support our neighbors and friends showed our Fellows.
